AstraZeneca Virtual Booth
The virtual booth was created as part of a cost savings initiative by AstraZeneca. This is a generic demo version of the booth, without the AstraZeneca branding.
Numbers indicate clickable areas that can direct the user to different pieces of information. Modeled in 3D Studio Max 9 with people created in Poser, then assembled in Flash.
The biggest challenge was finding a balance between image quality and image size so that the animation looks decent, but doesn't take too long to load. This type of animation requires a lot of data to be loaded.
Move the mouse left and right over the image to rotate the booth, up and down over the image to zoom in and out. Clickable areas in the virtual booth and on the menu all jump to the MedPageToday website, a site that was owned by the agency that managed the project at the time.
